The choice of Gates as NSD is a poor one in my opinion. This guy is the brother of former LAPD (that's right, LAPD)Chief from Hell, Daryl Gates. The man most responsible for 1991 civil disturbance following the Simi Valley verdict in the Rodney King beating case. He's a thug, and a Bush crony. What can Obama be thinking?
I've wondered about one or two choices but he's smart. He does everything for a reason and I haven't seen many mistakes yet. I campaigned and I recieved emails daily. I still get them. Not everyday, but it's nice he hasn't forgotten.
