"...you don't shred the Constitution" "I'd still have a towel and a glass of water in my hand with [Abdulmutallab}"
Faisal Shahzad is an American citizen so of course he should have his Constitutional rights observed (Manson has. And Bundy, and John Couey.) Terrorism, murder, rape, these are all crimes and because Shahzad was born in Pakistan his rights as an American citizen should be different? No way! When Beck finally gets the Tea Party so worked up that they start committing acts of terrorism, should they be treated different? No. If Shahzad is not treated as an American citizen, which includes Miranda rights, he will go free by mistrial. This is what the Constitution is for. To make certain that every right is observed to achieve justice.
I was feeling light headed, seeing little stars dance in my tunnel vision when I read the "towel and glass of water" part and all was right with the world. Glenn Beck thinks Shahzad should be read his Miranda rights just before he is tortured.
Glenn, you need a hobby.
And a diet.
And I think they are experimenting with face transplants.
